Eva MacLaine

Eva Maclaine’s experience spans reputation management, strategy development, public affairs and public awareness programmes. This is complemented by an excellent understanding of political communication at European and national levels.

Analysis of issues surrounding pressure group criticisms, community relations work on sensitive issues, such as incineration and land development, and stakeholder management are integral to her capabilities.

A multilingual communication professional, she is fluent in French, Polish and English; she has a degree in Russian; some knowledge of Italian; and has expert knowledge of central Europe.

Eva has strong record of delivering strategic communication programmes both in the UK and internationally and has worked at senior government level on a number of EU projects and overseas assignments. These include the Polish Ministry of Environment, a geothermal energy company, the Samoan Water Authority and the Cyprus government.

Her UK experience includes working for blue chip clients such as Shanks, LondonWaste, Transport for London, Schering-Plough Animal Health and Green Energy UK.

A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Public relations, Eva is also a Chartered PR Practitioner and an elected member of its Board and Council. As chair, she is also currently helping to develop CIPR International, its international member group, and has judged the Global sector of CIPR’s Excellence Awards.
